After leaving the Petrified Forest, we drove to Las Vegas to catch our impromptu Dead & Co. concert at the incredible Sphere. Have you visited the Sphere before? It's an absolute marvel ā a Vegas ā for sure.

We managed to make it to Vegas just in time to park our RV, get to our hotel on the Strip and freshen up (nothing beats a shower bigger than my RV!), and grab a quick dinner at Cannellini in the āGrand Canalā. I closed my eyes and pretended I was outside dining in Venice.
Despite Steve's usual tardiness š, he actually pulled a sneaky move and fibbed about the show's start time to make sure we arrived on time. Of course, we still ended up getting a bit lost trying to find our way to the Sphere ā navigating Vegas hotels can be a maze, especially when you're determined not to ask for directions (typical guy move, am I right?).
Personally, I have a soft spot for John Mayer who now plays with the band, and he is truly shining on stage. Steve, our resident "Set List" expert, was in for a surprise as no one can predict the songs ahead of time. They did manage to pull out one of his favorites that isnāt often played, a song called St. Stephen. Spoiler alert: the concert will transport you from Haight Ashbury to space, with the band serenading you the whole way. It's like orbiting the Milky Way while grooving to the tunes.
