After saying goodbye to our cozy Sequoia campsite, we embarked on our journey to Yosemite. Cruising through the south entrance, we caught teasing glimpses of the valley and waterfalls up ahead. But it wasn't until we breezed through the Wawona Tunnel that we hit the ultimate jackpot – Yosemite in all its jaw-dropping glory. This snapshot of Mother Nature's masterpiece is etched in our minds forever. Imagine: Yosemite Valley, El Capitan, Bridalveil Falls, and Half Dome all in one magnificent frame. Talk about a picture-perfect moment!
We discovered our spot at Upper Pines Campground, whipped up some grub, and got a fire crackling. The next couple of days were a whirlwind of exploring on foot and bike, plus joining a ranger-led stroll. Biking was a blast, allowing us to zip around, take in the sights, and move on to the next hotspot. We even indulged in some gooey s'mores around our campfire 🔥. As we bid adieu to Yosemite, a rainy forecast rolled in, cloaking the valley in a misty haze. The majestic canyon walls and waterfalls vanished before our eyes, leaving behind a truly enchanting atmosphere.
